Nikki Pradella

Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist

About Nikki

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychotherapist. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut, and after gaining professional experience in the corporate marketing world, I felt a pull to find a career that was more aligned with who I am. This led me to pursue a Master’s in Social Work at Fordham University, where I followed my passion for connecting with and supporting others.

Over the course of my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families—primarily within outpatient clinics and private practice settings. I aim to meet each person where they are, offering compassion, curiosity, and a high level of respect for their lived experience. I am a strong believer in your capacity for healing and growth, and I feel honored to walk alongside you in that process.

CORE VALUES

Authenticity, vulnerability, connection, kindness, humility

What is it like to work with me?

My approach is warm, collaborative, holistic, and grounded in both intuition and evidence-based techniques—with a healthy dose of humor when it’s appropriate. I prioritize the strength of the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful growth. Sessions provide a safe, supportive space to process your experience, reconnect with yourself, and develop tools to help you move forward—at your own pace. While I deeply value creating a space of safety and compassion, I also believe in gently challenging you when needed to help uncover patterns that may no longer serve you and support further self-awareness and change.

Why this work?

My journey into motherhood began on a long, winding road of infertility challenges. This experience enhanced my empathy and strengthened my desire to be a safe, compassionate presence for others navigating the emotional complexities of infertility, early pregnancy loss, and parenting in all its forms. I now feel especially honored to support individuals and couples through fertility challenges, holding space for their grief, hope, uncertainty, and everything in between.
